Always in my Heart...

Hello!! Hope all of you are having a fun and safe Halloween day:)
I recieved my Paper Pretties SOTM yesterday and couldn't wait to ink her up. I love these stamps. So I pulled out my nesties and my ribbon and went to town. It's simple yet pretty, I think. I added a glittery snowflake (it's hard to see the glitter, but it's there:) to the corner and diamond stickles around the nestie and on some of the snowflakes surrounding Sophia.

I hope you enjoy your day. Remember to join us tomorrow for another challenge over at the Stampin' Sisters in Christ blog. There's gonna be a goody for one lucky winner!! Hope to see you there.

Have a super blessed day!!

Happy Birthday Carly!!

Good Evening!! Hope everyone out there is having a SUPER day:) I'd like to share with you a card I made for my niece, Carly. Her birthday is Sunday and she is turning 11.

Carly loves frogs, so I thought I would make her a card with FROGS on it. I used the Basic Grey paper Lemonade, and the image is from SU.
The sketch I used if from this weeks Mojo Monday. I found a 'frog' button at a local craft store to add a special touch.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!!

SSCC #10 - Watering Can

Good Morning!! Welcome to our 10th challenge at Stampin' Sisters in Christ. We are so blessed that so many of you participate each week, we just want to thank you for your support.
Our sponsor this week is the Rubber Stamp Shack , owned by Barbara and John DiPrizio. They are graciously donating the Scriptures stamp sheet #16. Thank you for that donation.

Our host for this week is Laurie . She is one of our newest DT sisters and we are blessed to have her on board. Laurie chose the verse from I Chronicles 16:34 “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

The challenge for you this week is to make a card that expresses your thankfulness for someone or something they have done or to make a card that encourages someone to be thankful.

This is a wonderful challenge that I know many people will enjoy doing. Each one of us has someone in our lives that we want to express our thankfulness to. I know I do:). So here is my project I came up with...

I made this watering can from the SCS weekly inkling #181. I found this tutorial here. It's just the perfect gift to give someone that I'm thankful for. I know they'll enjoy this. I added pearls at the bottom and on each point of the flourish. I punched out some flowers and added some 'dum dum' suckers to complete the watering can.

Now it's your turn to create an amazing card/project. Can't wait to see what you do. Please visit the SSCC blog and see what the other DT sisters have created.

Thanks for stopping by!!

SSCC # 9 - You're an Angel

Happy Sunday!! Welcome to our 9th challenge over at the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge Blog. This weeks sponsor is none other than Taylored Expressions.

Our host this week is the lovely Lisa. The scripture she chose this week is from Luke 2:11: Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.
The challenge for you is to make a card or project featuring the nativity or other religious theme about Christ's birth. I didn't have a nativity scene or wisemen/shephard, so I used an angel for my card today:) I put some vellum over navy c.s. to make it look like a cloudy night with a bright star.

Now hop on over to the SSCC blog and see what the other sisters have in store for you. We encourage all of you to play along with us:) and we can't wait to see what you've created!!

Have a Happy and Blessed day!!

SSC Challenge #8

Happy Sunday!! Welcome to another fun and exciting challenge from SSCC. It's my turn to host this week, so I invite you to come and play along.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp. Heidi has generously donated a wonderful stamp set 'baby zoo animals'.

The scripture I chose for this week is from Jeremiah 1:5 "I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb."

The challenge for you is to make a baby card or other item for new baby or expecting parents, (you can even get creative and try a shaped card, etc)

Here is my creation..

I made a couple of different items. I used a template I had for a baby dress and jazzed it up a bit with some ribbon and buttons. I added some little pearls around the neck and scallops at the bottom. The other item is a 'rattle'. I made up the template myself and used some dp I had laying around that would be suitable for a little boy. The inside of the rattle, as you can see, is in the upper left of my picture. So cute how the top just folds up to expose the sentiment. The dress folds up as well, but I don't have anything on the inside yet. Hope you get a chance to try a challenge like this one, I'd love to see what you come up with:)

Thanks for stopping by.

Now go and check out what our other DT sisters have created here. And don't forget to enter a card or project for a chance to win that special stamp set.

SSC Challenge #7

Good Morning!! Welcome to yet another challenge from Stampin' Sisters in Christ. We are very happy to announce that this week our new DT's will be joining. To see all the wonderful creations that they have made, please visit the blog here. I'm sure you'll find some inspiration there. The host this week is Kris, and the scripture she chose is from Psalm 97:1 The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice!, let the distant shores be glad!"
The challenge is to make a card/project showing the earth rejoicing. Flowers blooming, trees bearing fruit, mountains ect. I chose this very pretty hydrengea stamp from SU Flower Garden. The dp is basic grey "two scoops" paper pad. Well most of it anyway. So go check it out. I can't wait to see all your creations.:)
