Happy Birthday, Big Cheese!

Hello, happy Thursday!!  Today I'd like to first say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my DH *Ü*  Today he is the big 50.  He probably wouldn't want me to say that but he doesn't read my posts so I think I'm safe and  what he doesn't know won't hurt him, right??  (oh was that wrong or what..hehe)

I used the newest release image from Doodle Pantry called Quirky Mouse, isn't he just the cutest?  He comes in colored as well as outlined versions and also some cute sentiments and 2 digi papers both of which I used on my card.  I used the colored version here and  I also used the new release Winter Accessories, I just love that set.  To see all the newest releases, just click here and I'm sure you'll find something that you'll love.

The sketch I used is from this weeks Mojo Monday  sketch 223 and here it is...

This challenge ends Saturday night so hurry on over, there's tons of inspiration over there!   Also a reminder of the Doodle Pantry challenge going on right now too.  Just use a Doodle Pantry image and you'll receive a new set for free!!  That's it for me, thanks for stopping by and have a great day *Ü*

{Doodle Pantry} Cuddly Bear

Hello, happy Saturday!  I'm so glad the weekend is finally here because I have it all to myself.  I did some cleaning around the house and now it's time to create.  I have a card I'd like to show you using one of Doodle Pantry's older sets and one newer set.  This cute li'l bear is called Cuddly Bear  and he's wearing a hat and scarf from the newest set called Winter Accessories.  This new set is so awesome, you can use them on just about any character.  I also put some liquid applique on there along with some glitter to make it look like he's sitting in some snow, which is why he's wearing a hat and scarf...lol!

The digi papers I used are also from the Winter Accessories set, very cute too!  The sketch I followed might look familiar, if you scroll down one post you'll see the same one!  My niece Carly has a new sketch challenge going on right now and it goes for the next 2 weeks!  One lucky player can win 7 free digis from Bugaboo Stamps...whoohoo!!  So here is the sketch again to follow..

My sister Kris and I often do sister challenges, so we decided to do another one!  The challenge is to use one of Doodle Pantry images and also use the colors BLUE, PURPLE, & GREEN!  I think I achieved that on this card *Ü*  To see what Kris made, head on over to her blog and check it out!

There's a challenge going on right now over at Doodle Pantry DPDC19 ,  all you need to do is use a Doodle Pantry image and you'll receive Workout Birdie for free!  Now that's a good reason to enter and you have until the 24th.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!

Sketches by Carly Challenge #47

Good Morning and happy Friday!  Today we have another sketch challenge over at Sketches by Carly.  This challenge will go for 2 weeks so there's plenty of time to enter.  The sponsor for this round is Bugaboo Digi Stamps, they have been so generous...Thanks Bugaboo!!  One lucky player will receive 7 free digis of their choice.

The image I chose to use is called Beautiful Blocks - Faith,  there are so many beautiful images in the floral category that it was hard to narrow it down to just one!  Here is the sketch for you to follow...

I used paper from the Key Ingredients Kit from Taylored Expressions, love those kits.  The butterfly punch is from MS and the corner punch is by SU.

I do hope you have some time to join us for this challenge, we can't wait to see what you can create with this sketch.  Thanks for stopping by,  Have a great weekend *Ü*

Doodle Pantry New Release!

Hello Stampers!  Happy New Year *Ü*  Today is the new release over at Doodle Pantry and just let me say that you don't want to miss this one!  It's a super release.  There's also a sale going on right now which is 50% off all digital images from Dec 29 thru Jan 2!!  Just enter RINGITIN in the coupon field at the bottom of your shop cart, and then click SUBMIT to see the discount apply.

My first card features the Sheep Alphabet   and I used the "K" for the initial of my name.  I thought it would be nice to make some thank-you cards since I never seem to have enough of those.

I also made a 2nd card using the same Sheep Alphabet but I used the "W" for my last name initial.  Here it is..

I used the same layout for both cards but just tweaked them a bit.  The design paper is from the new release also.

Don't forget to join us for the DPDC19 where all you need to do is use a Doodle Pantry image, then link your project using the inlinks froggy and you'll get the "Workout Birdie" set for free just for playing along.  There's also a free with purchase when you place your order!!   Have a great New Years and can't wait to see what you create.
