SSC Challenge #6

Happy Sunday!! Welcome to our 6th challenge week at SSCC. The sponsor for this challenge is none other than Kelly Little of KLSNS, thanks Kelly for your generosity. Lisa will be the host this week and the scripture she chose is from Psalm 19:14: Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight Oh, Lord, my strength and my redeemer. The challenge is to make a card/project letting someone know that you are thinking of them or praying for them. What a great challenge.
Here is what I came up with...

This first I made for a co-worker of mine. She is flying to Florida to visit her mother. I thought this would be a nice suprise when she gets back:)

The second card I made for my Mother-in-Law. Her birthday is tomorrow. So I want to send her a Happy Hello, and wish her the best on her special day!!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Now head on over to Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge blog to see what else is in store for one lucky winner:)

SSC Challenge 4

Good Morning!! Welcome to another challenge from Stampin' Sisters in Christ. This weeks host is Lisa and the challenge is to make a card using the sketch (seen below). For all the info on the challenge and the scripture please head over to the blog. Here are my entries...This card was made using the magnolia with the envelope. Papers are from the DCWV Citrus pack and also used the blossom nesties.

And this card I made using some dp I had around, added some buttons and brads. The same blossom nesties and the stamp set "It's my Birthday" from C.C. designs.

This is the sketch that you need to follow. Thanks Lisa for coming up with this Challenge. It's a good one.

SSC Challenge 3

Good Afternoon! Welcome to another scripture challenge from Stampin' Sisters In Christ. To find out what the challenge is, please head on over to the blog. Here is what I came up with for the challenge....

This is a card I made for the Paper Pretties challenge. I also thought it would work for this challenge as well, with her reading a book. :)

This backpack I made from the tutorial here. I thought this was a cute backpack for maybe a teacher or a special friend.
Here is a side view of the backpack. It was a real fun project to make. There are soooo many possibilities.
