D2D Blog Hop & Whipper Snapper Designs

Hello, Welcome to the Designed 2 Delight Blog Hop!  If you arrived here from Pat Sergeant's blog, then you're on the right track...if not, then you'll want to start at the beginning here.  We are celebrating the new Fall/Winter release for Whipper Snapper designs.  Faith has been working so hard to get these images ready and the D2D design team have some samples to share with you.  Here is my card using  Puppy's First Birthday.. also using the new D2D digi papers:  Eggplant Plaid & Butter Dots

Stitched Pumpkin by D2D


Morning!  Happy Tuesday *Ü*  If you've been playing along in the progressive challenges by Designed2Delight, then you received this awesome pumpkin set called Stitched Pumpkin.  It's a great set for all your fall/autumn cards.

Designed2Delight DT Challenge - Buttons!


Good Morning stampers!  Today is my turn to host the DT challenge over at Designed2Delight!  The challenge I came up with is...Buttons Buttons Buttons!  Let's see a variety of sizes and shapes.  They can be new buttons or recycled off an old pair of jeans or shirt or how about making your own buttons?  Just make sure you use at least 3 buttons somewhere on your card/project.  

For my card I used the cute li'l bear called "Sew Kind".   The design paper is from My Minds Eye, Stella & Rose.  Very pretty papers in that pack!    The buttons are from an older Key Ingredients kit.   I do hope you'll join us this week and play along in the challenge, also be sure to check out the progressive challenge that's going on now.   Thanks so much for stopping by, have a super weekend and enjoy the sunshine!

Strawberries by D2D!

Howdy stampers!  This is a  card I made using the new image from Designed2Delight progressive challenge.  If you played in last weeks challenge, then you were sent this image free.   If by chance you didn't play in the challenge, you can always purchase the image in the shop here.

There are a couple of challenges going on now at Designed2Delight.  The progressive challenge which is to use this "Strawberries" image and also the DT challenge.  That challenge is European Inspired.  It  can be shabby chic, Parisian, vintage, romantic, anything evoking Europe!  I know my card doesn't have anything to do with Europe, I just wanted to let you know about the challenge *Ü*

For my card I used digi paper from Clear Dollar Stamps.   Then I added some small green buttons to the corners and some ribbon from my stash.  The sketch is from my niece's newest challenge and you can find that here.   Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great week =)

Tropical Summer



Good Evening!  I have a super short post today, so I'd like to show you  a card I made using this weeks image from Designed2Delight.  This one is called Tropical Summer.   If you missed playing in last weeks challenge then you can still purchase this in the store.  Good news is that tomorrow is the 1st Friday of the month so the image will be free for all who wants it...YAY!!   So if you grab it, remember to use it on a card and enter in the progressive challenge to get next week's image FREE.

Fresh Cut by D2D


Good Morning!  It's Wednesday and today I have a card I made using the freebie from Designed2Delight's progressive Challenge.  This image is called Fresh Cut.  If you played along in last weeks challenge then you were emailed this cutie free.  If not, you can purchase it at the D2D shop here

This card also fits the other challenge going on by the D2D design team.  The challenge is to use the colors Pink and Orange.  You may also use any of the neutral colors for this challenge including...white, black, tan, grey, cream, brown.  We'd love to see what you can do with these colors!!

Spring Fence

Hello stampers!  Happy Wednesday:)  Just like to remind you that there's still some time to grab this freebie from Designed2Delight.  This Spring Fence is so awesome because it can be used for so many occasions.    Be sure to link your entry by Thursday night June 9th to receive the next freebie.

Winter/Christmas + Paper Piecing by D2D

Happy Saturday!  Today starts a new challenge over at the  Designed2Delights challenge blog.   The challenge is to make a Wintery/Christmas card but also use paper piecing.  As you can see here, I used the new Gardening Kaela and paper pieced her shirt and socks.  I also pieced the flower pot.  To make the flower pot, I used the tutorial over at SCS here.  I also used the Poinsettia from D2D and printed it out 3 times in different sizes.  Then added some ribbon and it was done!

Sister Challenge & D2D's Summer Days!

Morning!  I have a super short post for you today.  This card is made using the newest freebie from Designed2Delights progressive challenge, called Summer Days  If you played in the challenge last week then you got this one free in your inbox.

My sister Kris and I decided to do a sister challenge with a D2D image and put it together with a color challenge.  The colors we chose were yellow, turquoise and coral.  Now I didn't use much coral but for the flower.  Hope that's ok ??  To see what she made just head on over to her blog and take a look, it's really neat!!

There's also another challenge going on and it's White + one other color.  Lot's of awesome inspiration so be sure to check that out too!

Sending You A Smile *Ü*

Good Morning!  I have a short post to share with you today.  This card I made using the new progressive challenge image called Skater Boy from Desinged2Delight

I used some scrap design paper from DCWV and some card stock from SU.   I colored this cute li'l guy with copics and the buttons are from my local craft store!  The sentiment is computer generated.

**Oh I should mention also that there is a new challenge that starts today and it's to use any D2D image and handmade FLOWERS.  They can by punched, rolled, crocheted, die cut, ect.  (any hand made flower you like).

Happy Mother's Day ♥

Good Sunday morning!  First of all, I'd like to wish all the Mother's out there a Happy Mother's Day! ♥

Today I have another card I'd like to show you that is similar to the one I posted yesterday only different colors.  This one is for my mom.  The image is from Designed2Delights progressive challenge and is free this week for everyone to grab!   This pail of flowers is really very versatile and can be used for so many occasions. 

For my card, I used some dp from the Prima Marketing Annalee from M5D. The 2 pearls are from my stash and I used classic circle nesties!  I kinda used the sketch below but didn't put the stringy things on there, so I don't know if this will count!

Pail of Flowers!

Hello, hope you all are having a great weekend so far!!  Here is a card I made for my MIL using the new Designed2Delight freebie image called Pail of Flowers Since it's the first Friday of the month, this is free for you to grab for a limited time only.  It goes away next Thursday evening.

Good Evening!  Here is a card I made using the Designed2Delights progressive challenge freebie.  She is called Flutterby Fairy.  If you were unable to participate in last weeks challenge, you can purchase her in the shop and still be able to get next weeks for free.  Just remember to link your creation by midnight on Thursday May 5. 

For my card I used some design paper I got at my local craft store and the sentiment hmmm...I don't remember where I got that from.  I think it was a freebie at one time so I'm real sorry I can't remember.   I added some tiny gems and also some twine I got from the twinery

Good Evening!  I'd like to share with you a card I made using the freebie from Designed2Delight progressive challenge.  Isn't this a cute one??   If you didn't get the chance to play along last week, you can purchase this image in the store!  Then make a card using the image and enter this weeks challenge and you'l be sent the next image free to your inbox!! 

For my card, I used some design paper from my stash and also the ribbon and button.  The sentiment comes with the set along with a couple more.  I made up the sketch keeping it CAS.

Garden Party!!

How's it going today everyone?  I would like to share with you a card I made using the freebie from Designed 2 Delight's progressive challenge.  If you played in last weeks challenge then you were sent this cutie to your inbox.  It's called Garden Party!  If you didn't get the chance to participate, you can purchase this image at the store and play along to receive the next freebies.  You have until Thursday April 14th midnight to enter.

For my card I used mainly card stock with a little strip of design paper. I also used some digi paper from Shery K Designs, Summer Mega Pack.  Lot's of goodies in that paper pack!! Then  I used my floral embossing folder and punched out 3 flowers.  I added some ribbon on and some pink pearls to finish it.

Spotty Dotty Watering Can

Good Morning!  If you haven't had the chance to grab this cute li'l watering can over at the Delightful Inspiration blog, then I encourage you to go grab it now.  Since it's the first challenge of the month, it's free for all.  But hurry, the challenges ends Thursday April 7 at midnight!!

Here is my card using the Spotty Dotty Watering Can!  I used design paper from My MInds Eye called Bright Dots.  I added some roses and used the leaf punch from MS as well as the lattice border punch.  To finish it off, I put on some floral corner pieces from Cuttlebug. 

There's a challenge going on right now over at Card Ideas from D2D.  It's the Spotty Dotty Saturday Challenge and this image is perfect for it.  Of course you may use any digi image but somewhere on your card there must be spots/dots. Dancing Mice and New DT!!


Good Morning!  I'm so excited to announce that I made the Designed 2 Delight Design Team!  YAY =)  I've always loved Faith's images so I am honored to be a part of the team.  I'm also happy that my sister, Kristine made the team as well.  Way to go sis!!  I'm so happy to be working with a bunch of talented ladies, and I know I will learn alot from each of them.  Congrats new DT!!!

This card features one of the new releases called Dancing Mice.  This set comes with mice together as well as individually and also has 2 quotes too.  There are several other sets being released today, so please go take a look at the digi shop.
