Designed 2 Delight Potted Flowers

Good evening!!  Here is a card I made for the Designed 2 Delight progressive challenge.  I love this potted flowers digi.  The "Happy Birthday" is a rub on and I know it didn't come out very well.  Sorry bout that=)  I used basic grey dp 'Indian Summer' paper pack and put a doily behind the image.  I added some buttons in the corners to finish it off. My sister, Kristine, and I are having a sister challenge on this card, go check out what she made with this freebie.   I'm also entering this card in a couple other challenges, and here they are....Scrap Creations, which is to use basic grey paper and also a Birthday theme, and also Digi Doodles Shop Best challenge is to use buttons

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great week=)

Challenge #37 In Stitches...

Photobucket

Good Sunday Morning!!  Welcome to another scripture inspired challenge at Stampin Sisters in Christ.  I hope you take some time to hop on over and take a peek.

Our hostess this week is the wonderfully talented Chris Olsen.  This is her first challenge with us as DT for SSCC.   Here is the verse Chris chose for this week....

Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made: I know that full well.

The challenge is to creat a card or project that is knit together (stitched- faux or real)  I hope to see a lot of entries this week:)

Our sponsor for this challenge is The Greeting Farm.  There are lots of neat things in the store.  So please remember to go show some love.  The winner will recieve one stamp (in stock) of their choice.  How cool is that!!

For my card, I used some dp from digi scrap depot.  There are literally tons of freebies you can download.   The image I used is from Digi Doodle Shop.  There are many many wonderful digis and some even vintage, like this sewing machine I used.  The rose trim I bought at JoAnnes crafts.   It's hard to see, but I did stitch around the dp in pink and green.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!!  Now stop on over at SSCC and see what the other DT have made:)
