Tons of Fun!

Happy Thursday everyone!  I have a card I'd like to share with you using one of the digi's  my niece drew up.  Isn't this just the cutest elephant ever??  She is called Tons of Fun Ellie.  Right now you have a chance to get this set for free!  She comes in color version as well. The sentiment that comes with it is on the inside of my card  that you'll notice in the second photo.  Sorry that photo is a bit blurry :(

To get this cute set, all you need to do is follow the sketch over at Sketches by Carly and link your card there and you'll be emailed this cutey!  Here is a  peek of the sketch...

How about that for a sketch huh??  Remember you can substitute the shape and also the blobs for whatever you'd like.  I turned the sketch sideways so Ellie would fit!

For my blobs, I cut little strips of card stock and folded them accordian style, and that's about it.  I hope you'll take this challenge as we would love to see what different kinds of things you can come up with, and I'm sure Carly would be thrilled as well.   Thank you so much for dropping by today, please check back here tomorrow for a special surprise *Ü*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLY!!

Today is my niece's 12th birthday.  So I would like to take a second and wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!   I made this card for her a couple weeks ago and waited to post it so she wouldn't see it.  Carly is a very talented young lady.  She has her own sketch blog Sketches by Carly where she draws up the sketches on her own.  She has like 16 already on her blog and they are all wonderful.  Thanks Carly, I can always count on you whenever I need something new.

For my card, I used the digi from The Wild Flower Patch called 'Winter Dahlia'.  The sentiment is also from the WFP 'Birthday Sentiments'.  If you have some time, you should go take a peek at what's in the store,  there's some awsomely cute digis for every occasion.  There are rubber stamps available also if that's what you like. The dp is from Key Ingredients kit from Taylored Expressions.  Love those kits!!   For the sketch, I of course used Carly's sketch #15....

I encourage you to try one of her sketches and then link your card over on her blog here.  Next Friday there will be sponsored sketch, you won't want to miss that!!  Thank you for stopping by today, have a wonderful week, oh and again.....
