Happy Holidays!

Good Evening stampers!  Well, December is finally here and for me that means I need to get busy and make more Christmas cards.  Here is one I made using Holiday Ants from Doodle Pantry!  My sister Kris and I decided to do a sister challenge using an image from Doodle Pantry.   To see what she made, go check out her blog.

I decided to use the Mojo Monday sketch for this card and turned it sideways.  I also used a crocheted flower that I made and a pearl for the center.  The ribbon is from my stash and I used the MS leaf punch.  The design paper is also from the Holiday Ants set!

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great evening and a fabulous weekend *Ü*

Good Evening everyone!!  Today I have a card that I made for the Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge #5.  The challenge is to use any of Doodle Pantry's images.  There were several new releases that came out on the 5th and this image is one of them.  It actually is a set called Heart Candy Ants.  To see all the new releases and challenge rules please visit the challenge blog here.  There's even a cute cute freebie just for playing along.

This card is also for the Double Delight Challenge.  My sister Kris and I do challenges about every week and post them on the challenge blog.   It's where you take a freebie from any company and add an extra challenge along with it...it's just something we like to do for fun.  So the challenge is to use a doodle pantry image along with these colors...

I used designer paper from the Key Ingredients Kit from Taylored Expressions.  I tried to get as close as possible to the colors in the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by..I can't wait to see what you create with your Doodle Pantry image and these colors.  Remember to link your card to the Doodle pantry challenge blog and Double Delight Challenge blog.  Happy Creating *Ü*

Good morning all!!  Today I have a card I made for the Doodle Pantry Challenge.  All you have to do is use any of Doodle Pantry's many cute images.  Plus, if you enter this challenge, there is a cute freebie set Laurie will send to you via email.  I chose to use the Christmas Birdie set.  I just love the birds that she has in the store.

So with this challenge, my sister Kris and I decided to do one of our "sister challenges".  We came up with a color challenge and here are the colors ...

The colors are red, pink, green and blue.  Any shades of those colors.  So I looked thru my stash of dp and found Basic Grey "Eskimo Kisses".  It was perfect for this challenge.  The sketch I used is from this weeks Mojo Monday...

That's about all for now.  Thanks for stopping by and go check out Kris blog to see what she made using these colors.

DD18 - Embossing

Good Morning!  It's time for another challenge over at Double Delight Challenges =)   This week's freebie from D2D was a request by Kristine.  Her daughters, my niece's,  are entering a robotic lego competition in December and they needed some t-shirts with their team name on them....The laughing Giraffes.  Isn't that cute...Faith drew up these cute giraffes for our freebie for those who played in last weeks challenge.  Thank you so much Faith,  they're so cute!!  Here is the freebie...

CHALLENGE:
Use these laughing giraffes (or just one of them) and add some texture to your card by embossing!  Faith shared some neat embossing ideas recently ... like running a dishcloth through your cuttlebug etc.  Be as creative as you'd like!  If you don't have an embossing machine, please feel free to create texture using another method.  Can't wait to see what you come up with =)

*Be sure to link your card to D2D and Double Delight Challenges.

Sister Challenge - Fancy Folds!

Insert taken out of card..

Morning all!   Yesterday my sister Kris and I decided to do one of our fun "Sister Challenges".  So the challenge was to pick a fancy fold that we've never done before.  This is the Criss Cross Card.  I found the tutorial at SCS while scrolling thru the resources.    I've never made one before so I thought I would give it a try.  I must say that this was real easy to make with so many options.  I used some dp from DCWV Holiday Collections, and for the tab at the top I just used one of my nesties and folded it.  The sentiment and stamp are from SU.  I hope you enjoy this and take some time to make one yourself.  Now head on over to see what Kris has made.  Have a great Sunday and thank you for stopping by *Ü*

DD15 - Color Challenge!

Good morning!   Today is the beginning of the Double Delights 15th Challenge.  I am the hostess this week and the challenge I chose was a color challenge.  I would like to see Blues & Greens along with this weeks designed 2 delight image on your project/card.  Isn't this a cutie...

If you like this image, wait til you see what Faith has put in her store.  It's a set called "Willow Whimsy"  to go along with this image.  Here it is..

Isn't this awsome??  Thank you Faith!  And if you're a member, you'll get a code for 50% off to make this cute set only $1.50, so hurry!!

For my card I found a tutorial at Beccy's Place.  This is called a Tunnel card.  Very easy and quick to put together.  Here is a pic of the inside of my card...

There are so many options for you to decorate the inside.  I took the freebie image and printed it out 3 times and punched them out using my circle nesties.   The left side I left blank a little for any writing I might want to do.  The sketch I used for the front is the new sketch from Carly.  This week, Glitterbabe is sponsoring her sketch, so be sure to enter for a chance to win 2 digis.   Here is her sketch..

Remember to link your card to Double Delights as well as Desinged 2 Delight so you can get next week's image free in your inbox!!   Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great weekend:)

This is Kris' week to pick the challenge and she chose to use Border Punches.  Or you can take a single corner punch and make a border with that.  So many ways to get a border punched.   Remember to use the newest freebie from Designed 2 Delight "Two Apples"  when you enter.  Also, it's the first Friday of the month so this image is FREE for everyone.
