Crescent Moon Ants!!

Good Morning!  Today I have a card I made using the new released Crescent Moon Ants.  This set is a free download but only until Aug. 15, so why not download and then enter in our DPDC 26.  There are so many fabulous creations using this featured set, I used one of the colored versions and sentiment too.
The sketch I used is an old one from Sketches by Carly.  In fact, SBC is having a Blast From The Past challenge this round and the challenge is to use any sketch from Carly and you can find them all here.   Here is the sketch I chose to use..
I'm also going to enter this card in the Stampin Sisters In Christ challenge.  It's to use something BABY or pastels which I think I did both...hehe!

*Ü* Happy Hippo *Ü*

Good Morning!  I'm finally here with my sister challenge =)  Kris and I decided to do a sister challenge using a Doodle Pantry animal, the color pink and a homemade flower!  I used the Hippo-Ray, isn't she cute?  The paper is from Key Ingredients Kit and I made the crocheted flower myself *Ü*  The sketch I used is from an old Sketches by Carly #4.  I also used the grass punch from MS and the leaf punch too.

Be sure to head on over to Kris' blog to see what she made, it's so cute!  I'm entering this card in the Stampin Sisters In Christ challenge, which is to use any type of animal, bird or bug in your creation.

If you play in the Doodle Pantry challenge, you will recieve a set for free, click here for all the details.  Thanks!!

Doodle Pantry Snow Birdies

Good afternoon!  I'm back with another card using a new released set from Doodle Pantry.  This one is called SNOW BIRDIE.  It comes in both outlined version as well as colored versions with some fun quirky paper piecing.  I used the outlined version and colored with my copics.  The sentiment is also from the set as well as the blue/black design paper.  To make the snow, I rubbed 2 styrofoam balls together and glued it to the snowy areas.  It sparkles IRL, sorry the picture doesn't show that very well.

There is a challenge going on right now over at Doodle Pantry, DPDC17.  All you need to do is use a doodle pantry image (not just a sentiment) and if you do enter, you'll be sent a free set called  Quirky Penguin.  If you love the new quirky line from Laurie, you'll want to make sure you add this one to your collection too.  The deadline to enter is the 24th, so you still have some time to enter.

Just a reminder, if you purchase any items from the Doodle Pantry shop, remember to add the Quirky Turkey to your cart because it's FREE with any purchase.  But only for a limited time, so hurry on over

I'm also entering this card in the Stampin Sisters In Christ challenge which is anything goes.

SSCC 1 Year Birthday Blog Hop

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Our Birthday Blog Hop starts at the Stampin' Sisters In Christ blog! You'll want to start there and follow along. If you came from Kristine's blog, then you're on the right path. There are many blessings along the way and chances to win prizes, so we hope you'll join us! All of the blog links will also be there in case there's a break along the way.

This is one of my most favorite verses. It's the first one I ever learned (or memorized). It's amazing to know that God loves us SO much that he gave his son for us. That says it all right there. His love is so great, and I'm so glad to be alive today.

For my card, I printed out the verse on my computer. I used the ancestry paper pack and added some lace to make it a bit vintagey. I also used the Martha Stewart lace punch for the border. Thanks for stopping by.

Your next stop on the Blog hop is Peggysue. Hop on over to see what her favorite verse is:)

Have a blessed week and stay cool!!

SSCC # 45 - STRIPES!!

Happy Sunday Stampers!! Today is another weekly challenge over at Stamping Sisters In Christ. This week's hostess is the wonderfully talented Randi Barrett. Here is the verse she chose for this week...

Isaiah 53:5 (KJV) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; And with His stripes we are healed.

Randi's challenge is to use STRIPES somewhere on your card.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Toucan Scraps. One lucky winner will win one kit of their choice. Thank you so much*Ü*

For my card, I used a magnolia that my sister, Kristine, stamped for me. I used some striped dp that I had from K&Co. called 'Hopscotch'. Very pretty pastel colors in that paper pad. I also used my MS fence post punch and added some peach ribbon. The flower I made from my Sizzix dies and I know the dew drops look green, but they are actually blue. The picture didn't come out very well. I wish I was a professional at photography, but I'm not. *Ü*
Please stop by the SSCC blog and check out the other DT's creations. You're sure to find some inspiration there.

One more thing before I go, this is my last challenge for Stampin Sisters In Christ. I have decided to step down. BUT, be sure to come back to visit because I will have an announcement very soon, as well as my sister, Kristine. Thank you so much for stopping by.

SSCC # 44

Good Sunday morning all!!  Today starts another challenge over at Stampin Sisters in Christ.  Our hostess for this week is the lovely Candace.  Here is the verse she has chosen for this week...

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

Candace's challenge is:  No stamped images! Make a card with just words (a sentiment/verse).

Our sponsor for this week is Paper Jewels .  If you haven't been by yet, please do so.  They have some real awsome stuff at the store.  The winner will get a $15 GC to spend however they wish.  Thank you so much for this great gift.

For my card, I purchased a digi set called 'Sister Sentiments' from Sweet-N-Sassy Stamps.    I'll be sending this card to my sister this week.  The dp is from the Taylored Expressions May KI kit.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Please head over to SSCC to see what the other DT have created.  Thank you!!  And one more thing...

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
