Peacock Birdie Treat Dish Card!

Hello!  Happy Sunday *Ü*  Today I want to show you a treat dish card that I made using one of Doodle Pantry's cutest birdies ever....Peacock Birdie.  This is my first attempt at making one, but I think I did ok. I plan on making lots more so I'll get even better at it.   Of course it would be better if I had some candy to put into it!!  So just to show you, I put some buttons in there.

Here is the dish closed up to send to some one thru snail mail...

I wanted to do a sister challenge with Kris yesterday, so I IM'ed her and thought what a great idea it would be to both make a treat dish and use a Doodle Pantry image....go check out what she made.  It's AWESOME!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a super Sunday!!

Winter/Christmas + Paper Piecing by D2D

Happy Saturday!  Today starts a new challenge over at the  Designed2Delights challenge blog.   The challenge is to make a Wintery/Christmas card but also use paper piecing.  As you can see here, I used the new Gardening Kaela and paper pieced her shirt and socks.  I also pieced the flower pot.  To make the flower pot, I used the tutorial over at SCS here.  I also used the Poinsettia from D2D and printed it out 3 times in different sizes.  Then added some ribbon and it was done!

Here is another pic of the tag that pulls out.  All the directions are on the SCS tutorial page I mentioned above!  Now to see all the other fantastic inspiration, head on over to the Delightful Inspiration  for more ideas.

I hope you get a chance to play in this challenge, I'd love to see what you come up with!  Thanks for stopping by and have a super Memorial Day Weekend *Ü*

Carousel Box Cover!

Yay, I finally made a tissue box cover that I've been seeing alot lately.  My sister Kris and I decided to make one for another sister challenge.  So we came up with the Christmas theme and also using the same carousel horses we found at Beccy's Place.  Here is what I came up with..

KLSNS - Boxes n Baskets

Easter Basket KLSNS

Good afternoon!  Easter is getting closer and closer:)  KLSNS new challenge is for us to make a box or basket.  The hostess is Kristine.   So I have made a simple Easter basket that my sister taught me how to do.  I would link to it but I'm not sure where to find it.  Maybe I should ask my sis and get back on that.  Anyway, I added a handle and put some Easter grass in it so it's techniquely an Easter basket.  LOL!!  I then added an Easter bunny from La La Land's new spring release.  (It's also available in digi form).   Then put on some embellies I had from a previous project.  I so hope you enjoy!!  Happy Easter everyone.

La La Land Challenge #2 - Pastels

Happy Sunday afternoon.  This is my 2nd post for today.  I thought I would get another project done for the La La Land Crafts Challenge.  Instead of a card, I went with this Easter basket.  I saw a tutorial on this over at Whimsie Doodles.  The directions called for a 6x6 piece of dp, but I decided to do a 12x12 and it's plenty big.   I bought the new released Easter Bunny, (now in digi) from La La Land Crafts.  The entire new Spring release is available in digi.  Whoohoo!!

I added some easter egg buttons on for embelishment and added a polka dot sun behind the Easter Bunny.  The 2 roses hide my brads I used to hold the handles on, then add some pink pearls and some yellow easter grass!  Thanks for stopping by.

Beanie Cap Card Holder

Good Evening!! Today I made a couple of beanie g.c. holders. My sister gave me the idea so I thought I would give it a try. It was a TLC challenge over at SCS. You can use the tutorial I used here.
As you can see, my first picture turned out a bit crooked. But I think it's a fantastic idea and so many different ways to decorated them. I hope you give it a try, they are very easy to make.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a super day!!
